Nissan Adds Tesla Superchargers, Other Charging Options for Ariya Customers
Nissan has announced that Ariya owners are gaining access to a host of new charging options over the remainder of 2024 and 2025 to coincide with the launch of its new Tesla-compatible NACS charging port in the United States and Canada next year. With this update, new Nissan Ariyas delivered in 2025 and beyond will all be able to utilize Tesla’s Supercharger network right out of the showroom.
Already own an Ariya? Fret not! You can do the same using a North American Charging Standard (NACS) adapter with your Ariya’s existing charge port. Need an adapter? Reach out to our service department at Dick Smith Nissan of Lexington! We can help you choose the right equipment for all your charging needs, whether at home or on the go!
To sweeten the deal further, Nissan has arranged more charging options for existing and future Ariya owners. Through the NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network, Ariya drivers can access charging stations operated by Electrify America, Shell Recharge, ChargePoint, and EVgo—a grand total of more than 90,000 additional chargers in the United States—all through the existing MyNISSAN app*. No additional accounts will be necessary.
The 2025 Ariya is Nissan’s newest and most capable electric vehicle. It offers up to 304 miles of all-electric range and can be optioned with Nissan’s e-4ORCE all-wheel dual-motor all-wheel drive. Each is equipped with either a 63-kWh standard range battery (Engage) or an 87-kWh long-range battery (all other trims), with power outputs ranging from 214 to 389 horsepower. The quickest variants are the Engage+, Evolve+, and Platinum+, all of which hit 60 miles per hour in 4.8 seconds.
The Ariya also offers one of the most luxurious cabins of any Nissan. Standard equipment includes a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a HUD, a power-sliding center console, leatherette upholstery, heated front seats, and a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel. Available upgrades include navigation, Nissan’s ProPILOT Assist 2.0, Nappa leather-trimmed seats with ventilation, and a Bose premium audio system with ten speakers (including a dual-driver subwoofer).
