The reviews are in, and the redesigned 2025 Nissan Murano is turning heads yet again, living up to its legacy of disrupting the SUV market with its edgy styling and unmatched conveniences. Cars.com called it a “trendsetter,” and we can’t help but agree; this head-turner will get your attention right away.

The 2025 Murano leads with a new, LED-powered lighting signature that blends seamlessly with its grille slats. These sit beneath a second tier of lighting set off by a body-colored strip for a slim and futuristic look. The body stretches back from the headlights to pronounced rear hips, which combine with the blacked-out roof to accentuate the slope of the rear glass.

Inside, the Murano offers a clean, airy cabin that both looks and feels upscale. The interior can be upgraded with perforated, quilted leather seats with built-in massage, a panoramic sunroof, and 64-color ambient LED lighting, allowing you to customize it to suit your particular style. Whether you want bright and energetic or muted and soothing, there’s a backdrop that will make you feel right at home in the 2025 Murano.

Underneath all that style, there’s plenty of substance. The 2025 Murano benefits from a re-engineered and thoroughly modern powertrain based on Nissan’s Variable Compression Turbo technology. The 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine produces 241 horsepower and 261 pound-feet of torque, and it’s paired to a conventional, 9-speed automatic transmission that offers the refinement expected from a premium crossover. While front-wheel drive is standard, the Murano can also be fitted with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive.

Don’t let the curve of the rear roofline fool you either; the 2025 Murano offers plenty of cargo space. With the rear seat up, you get 32.9 cubic feet of cargo space in the rear hatch. Drop the rear seatbacks, and you get nearly double the volume—63.5 cubic feet. That’ll hold all your bags, a big dog, or even some antiques.

Like any premium offering, the Murano can be equipped with the latest technology. A Google Built-in infotainment system offers all the conveniences of Google Maps integrated with the Murano’s navigation system. Prefer to bring your own digital directions? The 12.3-inch infotainment system is also compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
